MONKAY

Our links. Their tricks.

Every new coin draws copycats within hours. Here are the only official Monkay places, the patterns scammers lean on, and two small tools that check a link or a message in your browser.

The contract address

$MONKAY has not launched, so there is no address yet. Anyone sharing one now is making it up.

No address yet. Any address shared before this line changes is not ours.

Check before you click

What you paste is never sent to our server or anyone else.

Check a link

Paste a link someone sent you. It is compared with the official list on this page and checked for lookalike spellings.

Catches common tricks, not every trick. When in doubt, do not open it and ask in public.

Check a message

Paste a DM or a post. It is scanned for the phrases fake airdrops and fake support accounts use.

Know the shapes

Six scams to spot

01
Fake airdrops
A fixed number of tokens for everyone, a follow and a wallet address: that is the bait. The claim page then asks for a signature that hands over your tokens. We run no airdrop.
02
Fake support
You post a question and a "support" account replies in seconds, then asks you to DM. Real help stays in public. Nobody from the team writes to you first.
03
Lookalike links
One swapped letter, a different ending or a link shortener. Type the address yourself or use the checker below; do not trust the text of a link.
04
Copy-paste addresses
Malware and fake posts swap the contract address. Copy it only from this site or the official X account, and compare the first and last characters.
05
Approval traps
Some prompts ask to approve a token or sign a transaction to "verify". Applying to Monkay only ever asks you to sign a plain message.
06
Impersonated members
A familiar name and avatar are cheap to copy. Check the handle letter by letter, and remember that names on our board are typed by applicants, not verified.

Small and boring

Good habits

Habit 1
Use a spare wallet
Try new sites from a separate wallet that holds only what you can afford to lose.
Habit 2
Read every prompt
A message is text; a transaction moves funds. If you are not sure which one you are looking at, reject it.
Habit 3
Bookmark once
Save the official site the first time and always open it from the bookmark, never from a reply.
Habit 4
Revoke old approvals
Every so often, clear token approvals you no longer need with your wallet's built-in tools.
Habit 5
Ask before you click
Put the question in public. A good community answers there, in the open.

Still unsure?

Ask in public first.

Post the link or the message and ask. Real help happens in the open; nobody from Monkay will DM you first.
